Third Grade

Third graders inquire and critically think about communities around the world. 3-6 Case studies are conducted to explore various communities within Africa, Asia , South America, the Caribbean, Middle East, Europe, Asia, Oceania or Australia.

Students compare and contrast communities around the world to their own, experience different cuisines in varied authentic restaurants, view cultural art dramas, explore resources available in different countries to reason specific lifestyle decisions, conduct research that is driven by students specific wonderings and much more!!!!

Students utilize their questions to guide their own learning experiences and become experts on topics they knew little about!
